1 Year Anniversary!!

On August 17th, we celebrated our one year anniversary!  This year it was on a Sunday, so we celebrated it on Friday and Saturday.  Luckily this was the week before Nate started medical school so we decided to go to the Salt Lake temple for a session for the day.  Neither of us had ever been to this temple so it was a day for firsts.  We really enjoyed it though.  After going to the temple, we went and ate dinner at the Roof.  I didn't know much about the restaurant before we ate there but it is really neat.  It's at the top of the Joseph Smith Memorial building overlooking the temple.  It's buffet style food, but really good.  They also had an amazing piano player.  She could play any song you asked and never had to look at music!  After that we went to stay at the Anniversary Inn.  We never stayed there before either, but we had a carriage style room and the bed was an actual carriage.  We really had a wonderful weekend. So to celebrate on the actual day, we ate our wedding cake and were surprised at how good it tasted!
